Who we are

LikeMindedPro ("we," "us," or "our") operates the LikeMindedPro platform at likemindedpro.com, a real estate networking community connecting professionals through in-person meetups and online tools. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

Account details such as your name, email address, and (optionally) mobile phone number.
Profile information you choose to add, such as your company, profession, city, and networking goals.
Activity on the platform, such as events you RSVP to, connections you make, and messages you send.

We also collect limited technical information (such as device and usage data) to operate and secure the platform.

How we use your information

To create and manage your account and profile.
To deliver the networking features you use (events, connections, messaging).
To send you service and marketing communications by email and, if you opt in, by text message.
To improve, secure, and support the platform.

SMS / Text Message Program

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, LikeMindedPro will send you text messages such as meetup invitations and reminders, account and welcome messages, and occasional announcements from us or our sponsors.

How you opt in: You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our account registration form at likemindedpro.com, or by texting START to our number. Providing your number and opting in is optional and is not a condition of creating an account or using the platform.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information collected for the SMS program is used solely to operate that program.

Message frequency varies — you can expect roughly 2–8 messages per month depending on upcoming events and activity in your area.

Opting out: You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending texts. To opt back in, reply START. For help, reply HELP or email eric@likemindedpro.com.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the platform (for example, our hosting, email, and text-messaging providers), and only as needed to provide those services. As noted above, mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared for third-party marketing.

Some profile information you choose to make public (such as your name, city, and profession) may be visible to other members and on public profile pages.

Your choices

You can update your profile information at any time in your account settings.
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email.
You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
You can request deletion of your account by contacting us.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
